The Lapara Subway is the mainlands oldest existing subway station and system.  The subway starts at viaduct avenue and continues to wrap around town until it descends into what is not a park.  The subway station is original, dating from October 15, 2010. It is inspired by the British style due to its arched walls. It may be the one of the cleanest designs and environments within Second Life due to its total lack of grime. Currently, there is a service tunnel to the highway tunnel in Astarte and planned works will connect this to the surface via a stairway or elevator.
