The Original Elevated Line
The original elevated train line services the Lapara Terminus. This has been around since some of the earliest days. The terminal station has been built on March 4, 2013. The whole structure probably dates to August 2, 2010.
The structure has been overhauled at least three times, with the current build being modeled after a viaduct found in Aurora, Illinois. The steel structure is not based on Illinois, but on the Market-Frankford El portion that would go over the old Reading Yards. It used to be the old green color, and arguably, it is only inspired by. There might be a better relation to New York City, but my inspiration was Philadelphia.
The span is 500 feet long and holds 886 feet of track, not including the junction.
The structure also features Second Life's only surviving signalling system, and the only one based off of Canadian Pacific railway's methods of the signal block only activating when a train is about to reach the block. This takes a very intense network of sensors and four controllers.
