Second Life's only known subway grate sits on Lapara Boulevard just in front of the Cuppy store and the Tailor's shop.  It was dug out on Wednesday, July 10, 2013, and recently upgraded to a mesh grate in 2017. You can see the trains running below, even at night.

In the summer of 2017, a second grate was added on Railroad Avenue and under the viaduct.
